We're Getting Married! (Hanna has no clue I'm writing this!)

As many of you have seen on Instagram, Hanna said yes! Thank you for all of the love and support you’ve shown us, it truly means the world. I can say without a doubt that we have the most amazing community I could have ever asked for.

Although I could write for days about how amazing my Fiancée is, I’ll do my best to keep it short and relevant to giving you some context into how Nash Nutrition really came about.

Back in 2014, a few athletes at the private gym I own/operate (Nashdog) asked to bring in some friends. One of these friends happened to be Hanna…and once we met, I immediately knew. Now I know you’re thinking “awe come on, you’re just saying that because she’s reading this” but I’m being dead serious. There was an instant connection with her that I felt unlike anything else.

She was soon on her way to college for the semester so we exchanged phone numbers to keep in touch. I heard that she just started up her own health blog and I thought it was the coolest thing. As a young entrepreneur in the fitness space myself, I couldn’t help but love the idea of what she was doing - even so much that I texted her and said “that’s cool dawg, keep it up”… no idea how she gave me the benefit of the doubt after that one but we kept it touch.

It didn’t take long to know that we were meant for each other and started dating soon after she went away. I would drive up to Slippery Rock almost every weekend and even convinced her to come back to Youngstown (although she tells her Dad it wasn’t for a boy, we all know it was 😉 ) to finish her Nutrition degree.

Throughout our college years, Hanna worked on her own nutrition and wellness consulting business, The Healthiest Me, while I continued to build my training facility up. She supported my every move as I did hers, but we never really worked on anything together. We always wanted to, but never had any major ideas that would stick…until the Nash Bar.

With Hanna’s amazing talent and experience with creating tasty, healthy treats, we were able to work together and create something I’m so incredibly proud of - the Nash Bar. I’ve seen first hand the care and love Hanna has for what she does and the community we’ve created. She talks about the bars like they’re her children and our customers like they’re family - and that’s really how it feels. What she’s been able to envision and create as far as our branding, products, and overall customer experience is something that I would have NEVER been able to do alone, not even close.

She cares about me more than I thought was possible, and her selflessness has a way of touching everything she does. I truly feel like the luckiest man in the world and I want Hanna (yes, you B) to know how much she means to me. None of this is possible without you. I’m sure I can speak for everyone reading this when I say THANK YOU. Thank you for being the caring, loving, passionate person you are and never stop shining your light onto this world.

Thank you all for being a part of our ever growing Nash family, we’re so excited to share this next chapter of our life with you.

Cheers to health, happiness, and love.
